Virginia Garcia Vessel – SOLD

Nicely polished redware jar by Virginia Garcia. This pot is 7 ½” tall by 8” wide. It is signed on the bottom “Virginia Garcia, SC/SJ.” Virginia was born in 1963 and, as her signature indicates, has lineage from both Santa Clara and San Juan Pueblos. She has won prizes at Santa Fe Indian Market, including a first place in 1991. There is some wear to the base but the signature is still strong.
