An exceptionally detailed Kooyemsi by master carver Shawn Deel. Russ Hoover and I wrote an article about Shawn and Aaron Fredericks in the October/November 2024 issue of Native American Art magazine. This katsina has hand-cast miniature silver conchos, tiny hand-beaded bracelet, strung bow and leather streamers and sash. It is 12” tall and 4” wide.
