Ryon Polequaptewa – Tawaquaptewa Interpretation – Mini Long-Beak

Ryon Polequaptewa makes many interpretations of the work of his great-grandfather, Wilson Tawaquaptewa (1873-1960). This one is very creative with the wave-like design on the kilt and chest, many polka dots, and elongated beak. It is 4 3/4″ tall with the tuft of red fabric adding 3/4″. The carving is signed on the base: “Ryon Polequaptewa Hopi 2026.”
