Mavasta Honyouti Dance Series Painting – On Loan to the Wheelwright until 2025

Mavasta Honyouti is one the most talented Hopi artists working today. He makes complex katsina sculptures, bas relief paintings, skateboard decks, and beyond. Recently he has created a series called, “Between the Dances.” This painting ofa Palhik Mana on wood is one from this series. The figure is tying on her kopatsoki or tablita.
