Manfred Susunkewa Mudthrowing Runner Katsina

When I bought this from Manfred at the Heard Show in March 2023, he identified it as the “Mudthrowing Runner Katsina.” It is 8 1/4″ tall. He has feathers on the head and swirls of black hair tied to the ear locations. Manfred is the originator of the Traditional Style katsina movement which he originated in the 1970s. He has been honored as an “Arizona Living Treasure.” The katsina is signed “MSusunkewa” with his Spider Clan symbol.
