  • Description

Beautiful rendition of a Palhikwmana on her knees grinding corn. The artist is Kory Jean, a young man who is, as he says, “Maswungwa (Maasaw) Clan from Moenkopi.” The figure is 12 1/2″ tall not including the feathers and 6 1/2″ wide. It is signed on the base “K. Jean” with his Maasaw Clan symbol. Beautiful hues on this carving. Precisely carved and painted.
