John Hornbeck is an Anglo artist who has long been inspired by Native American cultures. He is married to a Navajo woman. He got his start in making jewelry as a bench caster for Hopi jewelry notable, Preston Monongye. Eventually John became an accomplished jeweler in his own right. This bolo tie is 3″ tall by 1 1/4″ wide. It is hallmarked twice with his deer track symbol. The masterfully inlaid stones are turquoise, jet, coral, and yellow spiny oyster. The leather cords are each 19″ long.
