Beautiful Apache awl case with excellent detail from 1880-1890. Five horizontal beadwork strips across the case. Many aged tin cones beneath each beadwork strip. The case is 15″ long and 1 1/4″ wide. A white pearl-colored button closure at the top. Beautiful yellow ochre coloring. Four long drops as well with tin surrounds. I’ve had several of these and this is the best one in terms of complexity, color and condition.
