Cordell Naseyoma Wupamo or Chief

Cordell Naseyoma has been an accomplished carver for years. He has a job these days, so his katsina output is limited. I’m happy to receive this Wupamo katsina. Wupamo is both a Chief and a Guard.  The katsina is 9 3/4″  to the top of his head and 11 3/4″ to the top of the central white stick. Cordell uses traditional gritty mineral and vegetal prints on his katsinam. This carving is unsigned, but I bought it directly from Cordell.
