Coeur d’Alene Wall Pocket

This nicely beaded floral motif wall pocket is from the Coeur d’Alene reservation in Idaho. It is in fine shape with no missing beads. The leather is brain-tanned hide. The dimensions are 10 1/2″ by 7 1/2″ not including the handles or the fringe. It is a vibrant piece of beadwork from about the 1940s.  The inside of the pocket is a pale orange muslin. The reverse is a black muslin material.
