Mavasta Warrior Mouse Skate Deck – SOLD

This skateboard deck, by Mavasta Honyouti, was exhibited in the Museum of Northern Arizona’s innovative “Pivot” show. The show displayed decks by many creative Native artists. Mavasta’s deck depicts the famous Hopi tale of the Warrior Mouse. As the story goes: After many Hopi males had failed to kill the hawk who was decimating Hopi chickens, the brave mouse found a way to defeat the hawk. The wooden deck is 32” long by 8” wide and fully painted and signed by one of most innovative Hopi artists working today.
