18″ Tall Manuel Denet Chavarria Tohokatsina or Mountain Lion

Very large and fierce-looking Tohokatsina or Mountain Lion by master carver, Manuel Denet Chavarria. The katsina is 18″ tall and 5 1/2″ wide. The tail between his legs is the natural protrusion of a branch on the root. Note the undulating movement of the entire sculpture. This katsina is a wall hanger. What a dynamic carving!
