Vernon Mansfield Wakaskatsina or Cow

Vernon Mansfield was an utterly distinctive carver. This is a Wakaskatsina or Cow. It is good sized at 12 1/2″ tall and 6″ wide. It is unsigned but clearly his work. There is some wear to the paint here and there. It stands stably but also has a string for hanging on a wall.
