Sandra Suhu – Sa’lakwmana

Beautiful rendition of the Sa’lakwmana or Shalako Maiden by Sandra Suhu. The hues on the carving are quite beautiful. She often uses shades of color different from her male counterparts. The carving is 11 3/4″ tall not including the feathers. As with all of Sandy’s work, precisely carved and painted. She has signed the katsina on the bottom of the eagle feather garment.
