Ray Naha Two Sa’lakos Painting – SOLD

This acrylic painting on canvas is by Ray Naha (the younger). His precision in making katsina carvings is echoed in this painting. Depicted are two Sa’lakos in different forms: a katsina carving of a female Sa’lako and a pottery version. The dimensions are  24” by 12.” It is signed in the lower right hand corner. It is no surprise that Ray would produce such a painting. His grandfather, who bore the same name, was an excellent painter. And his mother, Emma Naha, is a fine potter.
