Randy Brokeshoulder Cricket Katsina

This is a cleanly made, bright Sosopa or Cricket katsina by accomplished carver, Randy Brokeshoulder. The Cricket is 9″ tall to the top of grass sprouts and 7 1/4″ tall to the top of the head. Try painting that checkerboard kilt design sometime. It’s not easy! Randy has won many awards at SWAIA, the Heard and the Eiteljorg Museums over the years. The katsina is signed with Randy’s initials on one foot.
