Max Curley Piksona or Piki Eater Putsqatihu

I suspect the reason that Max Curley used wood with such a major crack for this Piki Craver katsina was that his wood supply was depleted. But I prefer the explanation that he was craving piki bread so intensely that it split him down the middle. I hope he found an ample supply. This putsqatihu or cradle katsina is 11 1/2″ tall not including the feathers and 5″ wide ear to ear. Something different from Max.
