Hopi Yellow Fox or Sikya Leetayo – 1930s – 40s
$1,350.00
This is a Yellow Fox or Sikya Leetayo made in a fun quirky style. The bent arms and knees point to the Early Action Style that emerged in the 1930s and became common by the 1940s. The carving is 10 1/2″ tall and 4 1/2″ wide from hand to hand. The Leetayo is a Racer katsina which accounts for his small garment; it permits maximum, quick movement.
