Early pair of Zuni Moccasins

An early pair of Zuni moccasins. They are sinew sewn with multi-layered flaps of colorful cloud designs and vibrant blue base. I love the hole that emerged from the wearer’s big toe after years of use. The mocs are 9 1/2″ long and 5 1/2″ wide. Truly an object of material culture.
