Early Hopi Small Canteen

This is a small early 20th century Hopi canteen made for practical use. It is undecorated. These come in a variety of sizes from the small to the gigantic. This would have originally been covered with some sort of sealant and fired in an outdoor kiln. It is 4 1/2″ by 4 3/4″. There are some small chips to the mouth, but it is otherwise entirely intact. A nice piece of Hopi history.
