Apache Star Design Beaded Bag

Apache bags from the Fort Sills area of Oklahoma were made from about 1900-1925. This beautifully rendered bag has an uncommon complex star design on one side. On the reverse side is perhaps the most common motif on these Apache bags: a terraced diamond. This bag is 5 1/2″ wide and 12 3/4″ long including the multi-colored fringe. It is fine condition with no missing beads. A very nice example.
