1950s Crow Mother Katsina

This is a minimalist but evocative carving of Crow Mother or Angwusnasomtaqa. She is said to be the Mother of all the Katsinam. She is 8 1/2″ tall and 3 3/4″ wide. The eyes are eerie as befits this important spiritual figure. The katsina is unsigned.
